First and foremost: I’m not an expert. I’m not an analyst. And I don’t pretend to be. All opinions and feelings (which, trust me, there will be many!) are my own.
These opinions are coming from a former high school athlete, who still loves playing sports and even more importantly, still loves talking about them. A lot. While I love talking about them because they are entertaining, they’ve always always been a reflection of times—which makes this particular moment so interesting.
I guess it’s also worth noting that while I’m not an expert, I do have over a decade of social and digital marketing experience and know the important role the media plays in getting awareness and attention around things that matter..like say, women’s sports. So, I guess this is me trying to combine my passion and experience in what is hopefully an entertaining—and maybe even at times, educational!— space for us all.
